I think one main lesson I learned living and growing as a person with chronic illness is to actually embrace the time and moments I have, good or not-so-good, and be grateful. Yes it's cliché and yes I'm aware I've only lived almost 17 years, but beyond emotions, beyond the ups and downs of life, lies just time itself. I think time gets drowned a lot in the senses of a moment, when its constant passing is really a privilege to us; it is the very reason we grow.
